Dr. Monika Demmler completed her PhD in 2015 on Biophilia and the Aesthetics of Blues, Jazz, and Hip-Hop in African-American Prose Fiction, with research conducted across the University of New Orleans, London, and Berlin.
She is currently developing her new research project, “The Power of Sound Frequencies”, which she has presented at SXSW Austin 2022 and delivered as a keynote at Most Wanted: Music 2021, hosted by the Berlin Music Commission.
